Ahead of summer, spusu mobile has cut roaming data prices across 115 countries worldwide — making it significantly cheaper for customers to stay connected well beyond the EU. The latest changes lower the cost of mobile data in a wide range of popular and long-haul destinations, reinforcing spusu’s commitment to fairer, more transparent roaming.

As part of the update, roaming data now costs just £2 per GB in five destinations, including the United States, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Serbia. Prices have also been reduced in a further 110 countries worldwide.

Several destinations that were previously in higher-priced roaming zones now cost £4 per GB, including Armenia, Guernsey, the Channel Islands, Indonesia, the Isle of Man, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Madagascar, Senegal, Taiwan and Togo. Other increasingly popular destinations, including Montenegro have cut roaming prices by 25 per cent, while Georgia and Albania have also seen notable reductions.

“Roaming is one of the areas where customers are most likely to worry about cost, especially when travelling outside the EU,” said Christian Banhans, managing director of spusu UK. “By reducing prices across more than 100 countries and continuing to review our roaming rates, we’re making it easier for people to stay connected wherever they go, without having to second-guess how much it’s going to cost them.”

To help customers plan ahead, spusu has also introduced a roaming lookup tool on its website, allowing travellers to quickly check roaming prices for individual countries before they go.
